The team were called by the police to search Kit Hill for a missing 75 year old woman who was local to the area and been missing since 10am. Due to the late call out and the vast area needing covering, we also requested support from SARDA, DSRT Tavistock and DSRT Plymouth.
Luckily, as all teams had reached the RV point at Kit Hill car park and were preparing for deployment, news came through that a member of the public had recognised the female and taken her home.

Tim, Cat, Rich and Jim have all been on various local radio stations to help promote the recruitment campaign, which included a live "rescue" of Radio Cornwall presenter Debbie McCrory from a ledge on Roche Rock! More will be coming out in the local papers over the next week, but our thanks go out to all the team members and local press who have been working hard to promote the work of the team and help boost our numbers.
