Sunday 17th October 2010 at 10:30 hrs

The team were called to search for a missing 72 year old male, who we had already been searching for earlier in the year (see incident 27). Again, the circumstances gave the police concern for his wellbeing and a large search was mounted.

We were joined by teams from Dartmoor SRT Plymouth, Tavistock and Ashburton, along with a dog team from the Search and Rescue Dog Association. Dartmoor SRT Okehampton were also on stand by to assist us with the search as dusk approached.

At around 1800 hrs the male was located safe and well, making his was back to his home address.
