HM Coastguard were conducting a search for an 87 year old male in the Porthpean area alongside police, helicopter and lifeboat resources. The team were placed on standby in case inland searches were required, however the body of a deceased male was recovered from the sea, and the team was stood down.

A 78 year old male was reported overdue from a bike ride in the Redruth and Portreath area. The team were requested by police to assist with a search of the area however we were stood down at the RV point, after the missing person turned up safe and well.

An 80 year old female who was visiting the area and suffering with dementia was reported missing. A difficult search was conducted of nearby fields and moorland by the police helicopter, CSRT, HM Coastguard, police dog handlers and 2 SARDA dogs.

The female was located by a farmer, cold but otherwise well.

The team was called out overnight, and again at first light to assist with the search of a 59 year old despondent male in the Feock area. HM Coastguard and Rescue 193 searched coastal areas however the search was stood down once it had been established that the missing person was outside of the search area.

The team was placed on stand by for possible inland searches after a 87 year old male with dementia was reported missing. He was located by police and HM Coastguard resources and checked over by an ambulance crew.

A 48 year old male on holiday in the area was reported missing after not being seen since 10am when he went out for a run. HM Coastguard resources and RNLI lifeguards were already out searching, and CSRT and Rescue 193 were tasked to assist. We were stood down after he was located by coastguard.

The team was initially requested to assist with a search in the coastal areas around Perranporth. This was passed to HM Coastguard, but the team were requested to remain on standby in case further inland searches were required. Contact was maintained into the early hours of the morning until we were stood down once the missing male had been located through police enquiries well outside the search area.

A 38 year old holiday maker was reported overdue from an early morning run. As he had medical conditions and the circumstances seemed out of character, a search was quickly organised in the surrounding countryside and woodland of the Clowance Estate. The male was then located walking past the RV point safe and well shortly in to the search.

The team were placed on standby to assist with a search for a 43 year old male who had fled from an ambulance crew after a self-harm attempt. Members were stood down 45 minutes later as the missing person was located nearby by a police unit.

The team assisted police with a body recovery over difficult ground. There are no further details available about this incident. News story

Team members were diverted from a training exercise on Bodmin Moor to search for a 42 year old male missing in the St Eval and Porthcothan areas alongside HM Coastguard. The team quickly organised hasty checks of inland areas which fortunately located the male in a ditch. He was checked over by the team and taken to a place of safety by police.

The team were called to search for a 27 year old female who was missing in the area surrounding Treliske Hospital. She was quickly located with the assistance of a police helicopter and police dog unit. Team members then assisted with the rescue on steep ground where she was airlifted to hospital. We wish her a speedy recovery.

Three mine explorers were reported overdue from a trip to East Crinnis Mine. As the team were reviewing the incident with the police, they called in to confirm they were safe and well, having been delayed due to the tide.

A solo coast path walker was reported overdue on the Mullion to Coverack leg of his journey. One of our SARDA teams with two police dogs initially made hasty searches, which turned in to a full team call out at first light. The missing walker was located by Coastguard in Cadgwith safe and well later that morning after a large search.

Stand by for a search for a missing elderly male last seen on his mobility scooter two hours earlier. HM Coastguard and RNLI lifeboat resources searched coastal areas, while we remained on standby pending any further information requiring a search. The missing gentlemand was located 23 miles away.
