We received a call from HM Coastguard via the police to assist with the rescue of a dog which had fallen down a mineshaft near Botallack. With HM Coastguard and Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service already on their way, the controller waited for the initial assessment which revealed they could effect the rescue without team assistance.
