Following initial overnight searches, the team were called to join the search for a missing 61-year-old woman in the Falmouth area this morning. Ten team members were tasked to line-search a large area of Pendennis Point, working back towards Falmouth in what was pretty dismal wet and windy weather.

Just after 2pm, the missing female was found in undergrowth close to Pendennis Point; very wet and suffering from moderate hypothermia. She was initially treated by team medics before being carried out on a team stretcher to the point car park and a waiting ambulance. We wish her a speedy recovery and well for the future.
