Request by Devon and Cornwall Police to search mine workings on behalf of West Mercia Police for a high risk missing person known to visit mine workings in the area. Negative result.

Search around the Mount Hawke and Porthtowan areas for a missing 16 year old male. Located by police dog handler in woodland.
[4] - Tregeare (nr. Launceston), Search
Wednesday 13th March 2013 at 13:00 hrs
Large scale search assisted by several other MRT’s from across the South West for a 50 year old missing female, believed to have sleepwalked from her home address. Located unharmed in a bush outside of the search area by a passing member of the public.

Missing 10 year old boy. Located through police enquiries unharmed during an early stage of the search.

Police called CSRT along with HM Coastguard to search for a 92 year old female missing from a care home. She was (eventually) found in another residents room.

Numerous searches of open mine workings in the West Cornwall area for a high risk missing 51 year old female. So far 26 shafts have been searched by the mine rescue team.

The team were on hand to assist with the annual Bodmin Ten Tors event, this year being called to a number of participants in very poor weather conditions. Most were minor injuries and existing medical conditions.

Call from Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service advising they were attending a report of a Jack Russell which had fallen down a mineshaft. Dog successfully recovered by CFRS.

Located by team member outside of the search area whilst travelling home after stand down in the early hours.

Called to assist police resources searching for a missing 35 year old despondent male. Sadly located by police divers after team located rucksack at flooded quarry.

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service contacted the team in case assistance was required for a rescue of a Rottweiler from a flooded open mine shaft. The animal had been swimming for around 24 hours and was rescued by CFRS.

The team were asked to assist with a search for the occupant of an abandoned car. There were concerns for the welfare of the driver. Located by police dog handler prior to full call out, and taken to Derriford Hospital.

Team called to search for a despondent male in the RSPB Nature Reserve. Located by police outside of search area unharmed.
[13] - St Minver, Search
Thursday 27th June 2013 at 2120 hours
Assist police with a search for an elderly missing person last seen at 1800 hrs. Located by police through enquiries.
[14] - Hayle, Search
Friday 28th June 2013 at 2055 hrs
Search to assist police with a search for a missing female believed to be in the sand dunes near Phillack. Eventually located through mobile phone contact with female. HMCG also attended.
[15] - St Austell, Search
Thursday 4th July and Saturday 6th July 2013
Two hasty teams were deployed to make initial searches in the St Austell area for a despondent 74 year old missing male. The full team was then later retasked to check woodlands and ponds in the Charlestown area. Police enquiries continue.
[16] - Rock, Search
Saturday 6th July 2013 at 1830 hours
As the team had been deployed all day at St Austell, this incident was passed to DSRT Tavistock who attended and located an 86 year old missing male with dementia. He was evacuated by stretcher to an ambulance. Assisted by HMCG.
[17] - Poldice Valley, Mine Rescue
Saturday 10th August 2013 at 17:15 hrs
The mine rescue team were called by the police and fire and rescue service to assist with the rescue of a person from a mineshaft in the Poldice Valley near Twelveheads. One mine explorer in a group of three was unable to climb out of a mineshaft and was hauled out by CFRS uninjured. He was checked by ambulance staff who were also in attendance.
[18] - North Cliffs, Search
Friday 16th August 2013 at 09:45 hrs
The team were called to assist with a major search involving police, coastguard, ambulance service and lifeboat resources as well as a helicopter from RNAS Culdrose and another from the police.
Despite some extremely intensive searches in Tehidy Woods, the Towans and surrounding countryside and coastline, the missing male was not located and police enquiries are continuing.
[19] - Breage, Helston, Search
Wednesday 21st August 2013 at 21:15 hrs
Team members were called to search rural countryside areas for a missing 91 year old female with severe dementia. Assisted by two police dogs, a SARDA dog and a police helicopter, we were stood down early in to the search after she was located by a member of the public outside of the search area safe and well.
[20] - Colliford Lake, Bodmin Moor, Search
Sunday 1st September 2013 at 00:10 hours
A thorough search of the shoreline and surrounding moorland was carried out by team members and a SARDA search dog in to the early hours after a small terrier dog had been found running loose with a lead still attached. Fearing that the owner may have got in to difficulty in the area the police called on the team and also a police helicopter, however there was nothing found.
[21] - North Cliffs, Search
Wednesday 11th September 2013 at 15:00 hrs
Another call out to the North Cliffs area this time to assist police and coastguard teams in the search for a 40 year old missing male after personal belongings were found on the cliff top. Police enquiries indicated he may be at risk of harm. Nothing found.

Thursday 26th September 2013 at 23:15 hours
Call to evacuate a walker who had requested assistance after he had fallen unconscious on the moor for some time.
[23] - Camborne, Search
Tuesday 8th October 2013 at 02:30 hrs
Call to search for an 85-year-old man missing since early evening. Found fit and well by the team in undergrowth and escorted back to home address.
[24] - Grampound Road, Search
Tuesday 8th October 2013 at 17:00 hrs
Second call out of the day this time to assist police searching woodland and countryside for a missing male. Located by police dog within woodland and taken to safety.
[25] - Roche, Search
Thursday 17th October 2013 at 08:50 hrs
Initially placed on stand by, the team was later called out to the Roche area and deployed twenty five team members to search for a 79 year old high risk missing male. Despite extensive searches, assisted by 3 SARDA search dogs and team members from neighbouring teams from Tavistock and Plymouth, the search was concluded at about 22:30 hours without a find. He was later located the following morning 23 miles away by a member of the public, having walked to Davidstow!
