We received a request to assist the police in searching for a missing vulnerable male. Due to the location, we also called on and worked alongside DRG and Rescue Helicopter 169 and at about 8am the male was located cold but well on nearby farmland. See the BBC news story. |

Whilst we were at a fundraising event, Team members were alerted to a collapsed male suffering from chest pains. Two members dealt with the casualty, providing oxygen and casualty care until handing over to the ambulance service. |

A full team page was issued for a search of sand dunes after the army had contacted the police because one of their soldiers was missing, possibly in the dunes, Kelseys or Cubert Common area. Team members were later stood down when the soldier was located safe and well by the police. |

A female went missing about 4 miles outside of St Ives in the early hours of the morning and a large search area was identified including large amounts of woodland. Our Team Leader was at the local police station within five minutes of the request, to liase with police and come up with a search plan. Luckily she turned up safe and well whilst the rest of the team were on their way to the rv point. |

Concern was growing for a male who had been released from hospital earlier in the day. On arrival at his home address he went out and then “vanished”. The weather was very foggy, and there were miles of open countryside. With daylight fading, the Team launched a search. Police enquiries thankfully revealed that he had been admitted to hospital and was safe and well. We wish him a speedy recovery. |

The Team was paged regarding a very vulnerable missing female who had not been seen since the previous evening. Fearing she had collapsed in nearby countryside the Team worked with local police and the helicopter unit to search the local area. The female was found safe and well. |

The Team were called out by police to assist motorists and walkers stuck on Bodmin Moor and surrounding roads due to heavy snowfall. We used our 4wd rescue vehicles and team members on foot to reach stranded people, some of which had been stuck for up to 10 hours. During the night, we were tasked to dozens of incidents including medical assistance to a male diabetic, responding to an overturned emergency vehicle and searches of Bodmin Moor for abandoned cars and people. |

Team members had a short break from left over turkey when we were called by police to search for a male who had been out for a walk but not returned. Shortly after being mobilised to commence an extensive search of the area an RAF rescue helicopter located and evacuated the missing person. |
