CRG Members en-route to Incident 8 were flagged down by members of the public to assist with an incident involving a vehicle that had slid off the road. CRG members made scene safe and using our landrover pulled the vehicle to safety. 45 mins 4 - CRG Members

11 Search 17th April 02:57 “Female in distress on the coastpath”. This was at a ridiculous hour and included an area five miles long over all types of terrain! As we went to investigate in one of the Land Rovers, we were stood down. 30 mins 2 - CRG Controllers

16th Aug 18:30 K82 tasked to join main evacuation on the east side of Boscastle where we assisted the fire brigade and helo crews in evacuating flooded properties. K81 also attended after the completion of incident 25. Due to the difficult access to this part of the village, CRG continued evacuating multiple casualties late into the evening. 7 hours 7 - CRG

27 Flooding Hayle 17th Aug 21:00 Assisted persons trapped in rural parts of Hayle / St Ives as further flooding affected the county. 2 hours 5 - CRG
28 Cave Rescue Levant 21st Aug Caller dialled 999 asking for Cave Rescue but call terminated before full details obtained. CRG Cave Rescue Team stood down en-route whilst controllers assessed incident with coastguard & police. HOAX. 1.5 hours 5 - CRG

We were contacted regarding a dog that had possibly fallen down a one of the many mineshafts in the Cheesewring area of the moor. Unfortunately, due to not having an exact location of the missing dog we were unable to effect a rescue and passed the call to the RSPCA and an animal rescue organisation.

Westcountry Ambulance Service (WAS) requested specialist rescue equipment and personnel to assist in the medical evacuation of a male casualty. Using a basket stretcher, casualty care and rope rescue equipment, CRG, WAS and Cornwall County Fire Brigade (CCFB) personnel successfully evacuated the casualty. n/a 4 CRG Controllers

Whilst training on Kit Hill, police control alerted us to multiple 999 calls reporting red flares on Eastmoor. Team members diverted to the scene and conducted a search of Fox Tor and located two Army Soldiers. 3.5 Hours 13 CRG
