Whilst the team were still responding to the previous call out, the team received another tasking to assist Devon & Cornwall Police to search for a despondent male missing from RCHT Treliske. Team members quickly fanned out from the hospital grounds into fields, woodland and the local golf course. Three foot teams and a Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England dog team searched for five hours before being stood down pending further investigation. We’re glad to report that the male has since been located and is in the care of the relevant healthcare providers.
