SWAST (SouthWest Ambulance Service) called out the team early this morning to assist a 74-year-old male suffering chest pains whilst out with an organised group in the Rillaton Barrow area of Bodmin Moor.
Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of paramedics the male died whilst still on the hill. The team then recovered him to a waiting ambulance.
Our thoughts are with his friends and family.
